RTC Battery Back-up

The Maivin Carrier board includes a 6.8mm battery holder so a rechargeable lithium battery can be installed to keep the real time clock (RTC) powered for uninterrupted timekeeping while primary power is disconnected.

• Panasonic ML-621S/ZTN - 5mAh 3V Battery
• Seiko MS621FE - 5.5mAh 3V Battery

Installing the Battery

Install the battery into BT1 holder.  

The battery negative terminal should be placed towards the PCB.
